Day 65
The jungle beckoned, with exquisite beauty only found in rainforests... Our room was on stilts to keep out the night critters. Dinner was Cassava perfection. Morning brought monkey’s of all kinds that nested on our shoulders, giving sweet kisses. Tapers roamed free, and someone had an Anaconda. When it was time, we put on our boots, covered ourselves with repellant and it was off. Walking was to be done carefully, the world was so precious that to touch the balance of nature would be to destroy. Red ants were ominous, and to be avoided, as one bite could be quite lethal. Walking on a tightrope swinging on vines until we came to an oasis. The water was crystal clear, paradise, perfection, untouched... home.
